Getting Here From the Warehouse
Belleville and Van Buren Township are close neighbors of ours. Our warehouse is at 6345 Beverly Plaza in Romulus, and from most of the 48111 ZIP it is roughly ten minutes east on I-94. That short hop changes the math on a few things.
First, warehouse pickup is genuinely practical here. If the item is in stock and you have a pickup truck, a trailer or a friend with one, you can come in, see the piece, and take it home the same afternoon. Our staff help load. Bring ratchet straps and a couple of moving blankets, because even a ten-minute run on I-94 is highway speed, and an unstrapped recliner or dresser can shift or tip at 70 mph.
Second, it is easy to come look before you buy. Sitting in a sofa or lying on a mattress for ten minutes tells you more than any product page. Our hours are Wednesday through Friday 11am–5pm, Saturday 11am–4pm and Sunday 12pm–3pm. We are closed Monday and Tuesday.
Housing Types and What They Mean for Delivery
The 48111 area is not one kind of housing. Much of Van Buren Township is newer subdivisions and condo and apartment communities, while the area around Belleville Lake has a mix of older lake homes, converted cottages and newer houses. The little downtown in Belleville has older homes on smaller lots. Each type has its own delivery quirks.
Newer subdivisions
Many newer single-family homes have wide front doors, open first floors and straight staircases, which makes them some of the easier deliveries. The catch is usually upstairs: a bedroom set or king mattress going up a stair that turns at a landing, or a hallway with a tight corner into the primary bedroom. Two-story foyers can look roomy while the hallway at the top is still only about 36 inches wide.
Condos and apartments
For condos and apartments, the questions are which floor, whether there is an elevator, and what the stairwell looks like. Exterior stairs with a switchback landing are common in garden-style buildings and are the main constraint for sofas and sectionals. If your community has rules about move-in hours or where trucks can park, tell us when you schedule. We have no way of knowing your association’s rules unless you share them.
Lake homes and older houses
Homes around Belleville Lake are where we see the most variety. Some older lake houses were built as smaller cottages and added onto over the years, which can mean narrow interior doors, low ceilings over stairs, steep basement steps, and floor levels that change between the old part of the house and the addition. Some lots slope toward the water, with steps from the drive down to the front door. None of this rules out delivery, but it needs to be measured and mentioned up front.
A Belleville & Van Buren Measuring Checklist
Ten minutes with a tape measure prevents most failed deliveries. For homes in this area, check these in particular:
- The narrowest point of the whole path, from the truck to the room. Storm doors, a screen porch door on a lake house, or a hallway corner are often narrower than the front door.
- Steps between the drive and the door. Count them and note whether there is a railing or a turn. Sloped lake lots and raised condo entries both affect how a crew carries a heavy piece.
- Stair landings and ceiling height. A 90-degree turn at a landing with a low ceiling above it is the hardest path there is for a sofa or box spring. Measure the ceiling height at the turn, not just the stair width.
- Your sofa’s diagonal depth. It decides whether a sofa fits through a door when it is tipped on end. Compare it to your narrowest door opening.
- Sliding doors to a deck or patio. For outdoor furniture going to a lakeside deck, measure the slider opening with the fixed panel in place. That opening is often only about 30 to 36 inches.
- Upper-floor condo units. Measure the stairwell width, the landing depth and the unit door.
- Winter access. From roughly November through March, the drive, the walk and any steps need to be shoveled and salted before the truck arrives.

The Guides Most Useful Here
A few of our guides line up well with how people in this area live:
- Outdoor & patio furniture guide — for decks and lakeside patios. It covers materials that hold up to Michigan sun, rain and winter storage.
- Small-space furniture guide — for condos, apartments and smaller older lake homes where every foot of floor counts.
- Bedroom furniture guide and mattress buying guide — useful if you are furnishing a new subdivision home or a guest room at the lake.
- Living room furniture guide — sofa sizing, sectionals and how to plan for open floor plans.
- Furniture care & maintenance guide — especially for homes near the water, where summer humidity can be hard on wood and upholstery.
How Quoting and Scheduling Work
We quote delivery per address and per item, by phone. Call (734) 444-7277 with your address and what you are buying, and tell us anything unusual: a sloped lake lot, steps down to the door, a second-floor condo without an elevator, a gated community, or a basement stair with a hard turn. That information goes into the quote, so there are no surprises at the door.
Delivery days follow our Wednesday through Sunday rhythm. If a particular day will not work, say so when you schedule. On delivery day, someone 18 or older needs to be home to direct placement and sign. Inspect every piece before you sign, and write any damage on the paperwork itself.
One thing to keep straight: items you buy from our Amazon or Walmart listings are shipped by those retailers on their own schedules, not by our trucks. The local quote and scheduling process here applies to warehouse inventory.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far is the Wholesale Warehouse store from Belleville?
The warehouse is at 6345 Beverly Plaza in Romulus, about ten minutes east of Belleville on I-94 under normal traffic. That short drive makes warehouse pickup practical for in-stock items if you have a pickup truck or trailer. Our hours are Wednesday through Friday 11am to 5pm, Saturday 11am to 4pm and Sunday 12pm to 3pm, and we are closed Monday and Tuesday.
Do you deliver to lake homes on Belleville Lake?
Belleville and Van Buren Township are within our regular delivery area, and lake homes are part of that. Lake properties sometimes have long or sloped drives, steps down to the house, or tight interior stairs. Mention any of that when you call (734) 444-7277 so we can quote the delivery accurately and plan the right crew for your address.
How much does delivery to 48111 cost?
We do not publish a flat delivery price because it depends on the address, the items and what it takes to get them into the home. Call (734) 444-7277 with your address and what you are buying, and we will quote the delivery before you commit, so there are no surprises at the door on delivery day.
Can you deliver to a second-floor condo or apartment in Van Buren Township?
Yes, upper-floor units are a normal part of delivery, but tell us about them when you schedule. Let us know the floor, whether there is an elevator, and whether the stairwell has a landing turn. Measure the narrowest point of the stairwell and the unit door so we can confirm the piece will fit before it goes on the truck.
What should I have ready on delivery day?
Someone 18 or older needs to be home to direct placement and sign. Clear the path from the driveway to the room, move the old furniture out of the way, and in winter make sure the driveway and walk are shoveled and salted. Inspect every piece before signing and write any damage on the paperwork itself.
